Stuff Happens While Riding – Teal Level

Stuff Happens card sets contain discussion scenarios to help your Teal Level Horsemanship students remember solutions to common riding issues encountered on the flat, over fences, and on the cross-country field.

Training Talk Cards – White Level

This set of Training Talk Cards for White Level contains discussion scenarios you can use to teach unmounted lessons on equine ground training skills. Students must decide if the trainer in each scenario is using R-, R+, P- or P+ operant conditioning… although for some of these cards, as in real life, it’s up for debate!

Horse Talk Cards – Pink Level

This Horse Talk Cards set for Pink Level ground training skills contains discussion scenarios you can use to teach unmounted lessons. We use Horse Talk cards and the game “Pony Charades” to help students appreciate the challenge of working with nonverbal partners – and the importance of giving animals a voice. These cards are similar to our Stuﬀ Happens cards in that each contains a common scenario, but Horse Talk cards are written from the horse’s perspective.
