This is an excruciatingly long page full of useful information
and dull-but-necessary legal gobbledygook.

Customer Service and Office Hours

Our website’s Contact Us form is the easiest way to send us questions or comments. You can also email us directly:

BossMares [at] HorseSenseLearningLevels.com

We are a small family-owned and operated business. Like you, we have MANY students to teach, horses and cats and a deranged huskie, and families to nurture and maintain, so our ability to reply to routine inquiries is necessarily limited to dedicated office hours:

Monday – Friday
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (US Eastern Time)
Saturday
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

However, we make every effort to reply to all inquiries via email within 24 hours.

FREE NEWSLETTER subscriptions

SUBSCRIPTION BENEFITS

When you sign up for an LLPro membership, we’ll ask you if you want to subscribe to our free email newsletter service. You can opt in after your subscription purchase using the link on the Thank You page – or at any later time via the Sign Up for Our Newsletter page.

However, enrollment in a newsletter subscription is FREE – no membership is required.

When you subscribe, we’ll send you occasional email newsletters to keep you informed of new teaching resources and special offers. We don’t like spam, so you’ll only receive newsletters when we have something worthwhile to share, typically once per month!

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your newsletter subscription at any time using the link at the bottom of every email message – or just send us a message.

the usual caveat for recommended resources

We share our LLPro members’ personal recommendations for various outside resources – any materials not owned and created by HorseSense Learning Levels, LLC – to help you find useable teaching tools.

Please carefully evaluate all recommended resources to determine if they will work for your unique program. We offer no warranty for your experience with outside resources, and cannot be held liable for the opinions of our users.

Payments

We use Stripe’s secure payment gateway for credit card purchases. This means you don’t have to leave our website to process your payment.

At checkout, you’ll have the option to save your credit card information, which is handy when you need to reorder ribbons! Saved payment information is stored on Stripe’s server, and we do not have access to it.

You can access your saved payment details on your My LLPro Account or Shop Account page.

After submitting your payment, you’ll automatically be directed to our website’s Thank You page. Information about your order will appear on this page.

You should also receive an auto-generated email with a transaction receipt. If you don’t receive this email, please check your PROMO, JUNK, or SPAM folder for an email from bossmares [at] wordpress-473557-3496958.cloudwaysapps.com. If no message arrives within an hour, send us a message.

Shop purchases - RIBBONS and OTHER PHYSICAL GOODS

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CURRENTLY WE CAN ONLY SHIP RIBBONS AND OTHER MATERIALS TO THE U.S. AND CANADA!

Residents of the U.S. (incl. U.S. Territories) and Canada can purchase Learning Levels ribbons and other teaching tools directly from our Shop – no membership is required.

LLPro members receive members-only discount codes for Shop products. These codes must be applied on the Cart or Checkout pages BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR PURCHASE.

So please check your order carefully before you submit it!

If you forget to add a coupon code, or to manually select the Free Shipping option, we’re not able to change that order after you’ve submitted the payment – our only option is to refund your purchase amount, less a 10% processing fee, and have you resubmit the whole order.

If you have questions or problems with any Shop purchase, contact us!

Shipping fees for Shop merchandise

We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible. That means our orders are shipped by default via USPS First Class unless you choose a different option – including Free Shipping, if applicable – at checkout.

It’s also the reason we have to restrict our Free Shipping offer to the United States.

If your after-coupon order total is $45.00 or more, you’ll be eligible for free shipping. The free shipping option will magically appear on your checkout form – please make sure you select that option before you complete your order!

With USPS First Class shipping, you can expect your order to arrive within the 4-12 day range, depending upon the distance it must travel from north Georgia.

If you choose priority or expedited shipping, we’ll provide a tracking number with an estimated arrival date – usually within 2-4 days.

We’ll send you an email once your order is shipped. If you don’t receive your order within a reasonable time frame, let us know!

And a reminder:  CURRENTLY WE CAN ONLY SHIP RIBBONS AND OTHER MATERIALS TO THE U.S. AND CANADA!

Shop purchases - DOWNLOAD FILES

You can purchase Learning Levels download files without a membership.

Sadly, PDF books are not eligible for members-only discounts due to our publishing agreement with Amazon.com.

After your purchase is completed, you’ll receive an email message with a link to your download file. You must click on this link to access your new PDF.

Your purchase will set up a Shop Account for you, using the username and password you created at checkout. Your Shop Account page is available by hovering over the SHOP item in the main menu. This is the place to find details about your account, including downloadable copies of purchase invoices, and links to your downloadable PDF files.

Any downloadable PDF files you purchase from us come with unlimited downloads, and their download links will be available to you for as long as you maintain an active Shop Account with us.

Purchases for any digital material, including PDF files, are not eligible for a refund.

If you have questions or problems with any Shop purchase, contact us!

Shop refunds and returns

Printed materials and physical products from our shop may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided that we receive the materials in undamaged condition. Buyer must pay return postage unless we agree otherwise before items are shipped back to us. Refunds will be processed when we receive the materials.

If your Shop order arrives in damaged condition, contact us within 21 days of your purchase date so that we can arrange a replacement or refund.

No refunds will be issued after 21 days from your purchase date.

Digital files can’t be returned, of course, so all downloadable purchases are necessarily not refundable.

NOTE: Membership subscriptions are also not eligible for refunds; see our Cancellation Policy for details.

All of our links to outside websites and services (e.g., Amazon.com) are set to No Follow, and no information is shared about you to those sites.

We collect data that monitors your interaction with that embedded content, solely for our own use as we determine which services best meet your needs.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will inform any potentially impacted users immediately via email, with suggestions for a course of action to mitigate your risk.

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
