The whole idea behind the Learning Levels program is to keep students motivated — which only works if both you and your students can easily track their progress and see exactly what they’ve accomplished.
So you need an easy way to share your tracking system with assistant instructors, students and their parents.
The simple curriculum checklist gives students a detailed overview, and is undoubtedly the easiest option to print.
We've always provided students and parents with the entire curriculum when they enroll in lessons, because we want them to understand just how much there is to learn about horses and riding!
All of our curriculum checklists are FREE to download without a membership.
When it comes to helping students track their own progress, however, you may prefer to focus on one Level at a time. So we've started using these single-page Progress Sheets, which can be printed when a student starts a new Level — because we always want them to know what they'll be learning next!
Progress sheets are formatted with 3-hole punch margins so students can keep them in binders. You can also put together an Instructors' Binder so multiple instructors can easily track progress and plan lessons for each student.
Our original printable booklets are still a good option if you want a portable record for each student with ALL the objectives for that curriculum.
Duplex printing the booklets can be tricky for those of us who are directionally challenged, but they're an economical choice for bulk printing because they only use four sheets of paper.

These double-duty printable certificates can also be used to help students track objectives for a Level.
We give students a certificate at the start of each new Level, and tell them to color a new section of the horse drawing as they complete each objective.
When they finish that Level, they'll have a colorful image of their progress — ideal for younger students and visual learners!
