Bring your BINGO games to the arena – and test important Red Level Horsemanship objectives – with these printable BINGO cards for students in beginner Western riding lessons.
We suggest using Arena BINGO in one of three different ways:
- Play a casual game to liven up review periods at the beginning or end of the lesson. Students can choose their own BINGO card and skills to demonstrate, with the goal of completing five skills in a row. The instructor holds the cards and marks off skills for each rider.
- Pair with Horsemanship Progress Sheets to check off Red Level objectives during a Level Up clinic or evaluation day.
- Use the cards as prompts for a rainy day indoor lesson on arena skills, with students mounted on hobbyhorses!
- Need more ideas? Look through Chapter 37: Rainy Day “Riding” Lessons in The Big Book of Barn Lessons.
The file contains 6 printable BINGO cards, the Master List, and a page of instructions and tips for variations.
Thanks to instructor Kaylee Dodson, Abbotsford Park Riding Centre, NSW, Australia, for the suggestion!
