The fifth Learning Levels Horsemanship study guide for mounted Western riding lessons.
The Orange Horsemanship Level is an intermediate level, requiring students to ride with increased confidence, control, fitness, and influence over the horse’s balance.
Orange Level Horsemanship is the path that leads to more advanced riding. Students will learn how to influence the horse’s balance, and to ride with accuracy and precision in the arena. They will also gain confidence and experience riding over obstacles and in the open.
Orange Level students can safely participate in mounted activities outside of lessons, while developing an appreciation for arena work and equitation as well as consideration for the horse.
