Stall Cards Set – All Levels

Learning Levels Downloads

Helpful information about this resource:

Use these simple printable stall cards in unmounted lessons or camps to teach Horse ID or Show Etiquette, although they can also be used to make actual stall cards for your barn.

The file contains three different stall card variations:

  • stall card for barn use, appropriate for Rainbow Level students (with assistance!)
  • stall card for barn use, appropriate for Red or Yellow Level students
  • stall card for show stalls, with blank space at top for horse and stable’s name and detailed contact information

This is one of those items we like to keep printed for impromptu rainy day barn lessons.

Designed for print only.

If you want students to include a photo of the horse for their stall card, you’ll need to either supply printed photos yourself; have students take photos that you can then print for them, or require students to bring a photo of the correct size to the lesson.

Alternatively, you can have students draw and color a horsey portrait.

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
