Level Up Flashcards – Sample Set

Learning Levels Downloads

Helpful information about this resource:

We use Level Up flashcard sets in a variety of fun quiz-bowl type games that emphasize the important mounted Horsemanship and unmounted HorseSense knowledge we want students to remember.

All of the terminology in the datasets can be found in our student study guides, making them appropriate for student self-study or group learning games in lessons, clinics, and camps.

Some sets are designed to print on standard business card templates, but could also be printed on plain white card stock.

We prefer to print the terms and definitions on separate cards, which makes them useful for matching games. However, some sets are available for duplex printing, with the term on one side of the card and the definitions on the other side.

Includes printing instructions.

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
