Level Up Flashcards – Pink Level – Horse Talk

Learning Levels Downloads

Helpful information about this resource:

This simple printable flashcard set for Pink Level can help students learn to interpret 18 specific equine behaviors, with an illustrated term and a brief description for each behavior.

Use for unmounted lessons with our HorseTalk worksheet and Pink Level HorseCentered study guide, and generate more detailed discussions of equine behavior with our Horse Talk Cards.

All Level Up sets are designed for full color desktop printing. We’ve designed this set to print as easily as possible, using plain 8.5”x11” white card stock to print each page on one side only, which provides flexibility for matching games.

NOTE: These sets won’t print in the correct order if you try to duplex (front and back) print them!

Includes:

  • printing instructions
  • a printable ANSWER KEY
  • ILLUSTRATED TERMS and DESCRIPTIONS
  • additonal blank cards

Cut the cards apart and match them up for lessons – or scramble the order for matching games.

18 terms in this set.

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
