Barn BINGO – Green Level HorseSense

Learning Levels Downloads

Helpful information about this resource:

Bring your BINGO games to the barn – and teach or test important Green Level HorseSense objectives – with these printable BINGO cards for students in beginner unmounted lessons.

We suggest using Barn BINGO in one of three different ways:

  • Play a casual game at the beginning or end of an unmounted lesson. Students can choose their own BINGO card and skills to demonstrate, with the goal of completing 5 in a row.
  • Pair with HorseSense Progress Sheets to check off Green Level objectives during a Level Up clinic or evaluation day.
  • Use the cards as part of a summer HorseSense Challenge. Students can earn a small prize by completing a single row, and a bigger prize for completing the whole card.

The file contains 6 printable BINGO cards, with a page of instructions.

Thanks to instructor Kaylee Dodson, Abbotsford Park Riding Centre, NSW, Australia, for the suggestion!

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
