Camp Award Certificates

Helpful information about this resource:

These are full-color printable award certificates that we presented to campers at every summer horse camp.

From the start of camp, we watched campers to determine which award would most reflect their performance during camp. Sometimes we had to add in a special award if we had a student who didn’t fit our usual award categories (e.g., daredevil boys on zoomy ponies earned our “N.A.S.C.A.R. award”) — but for most camps, we could match up each student with one of the standard awards.

We’ve bundled all 12 of our camp certificates here in one .ZIP archive to let you choose the awards that will work for you:

There are 10 ready-to-print PDF files, one for each award , which you can print and simply fill in the blank spaces by hand. Awards include:

  • Happy Camper
  • Cowgirl Up
  • Cowboy Up
  • Lead Mare
  • Horsey Encylopedia
  • Sitting Pretty
  • Great Strides
  • Loves to Leap
  • Rising Star
  • In Good Hands

— There’s a generic “Horse Camp Award” PDF, with additional blank space for you to write in the name of the award. You could also open the file in a PDF editor to add/edit information in your choice of fonts.

— There’s also a high-resolution JPG image of the generic Horse Camp Award that can be inserted as a background image in Word, Google Docs, etc. Fill the blank ribbon medallion with your logo or other text to create your own set of custom awards.

We’ve been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood in sweltering/ freezing arenas, capturing lifelong memories of lessons, camps and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One former student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here. We’re also grateful for photos of Western riding donated by LLPro instructors – particularly Bit of Pleasure Horse School and Joyful Hearts Photography!

You’ll find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials graciously donated by our friend Rhonda Hagy. Evan Surrusco contributes additional illustrations and handles most of our photo processing. Contact us for information about their work.
