Equitation Patterns and Course Maps - Set One for Orange Level
Add some fun to your intermediate riding lessons with these challenging Orange Level Horsemanship patterns and maps – our students LOVE these lessons!
We’ve combined our first set of printable Orange Level equitation patterns, jump course maps, and obstacle course maps – 15 in all – into one convenient download file. Each course or pattern consists of two pages: one page displays a diagram and the second page had detailed set-up instructions and suggested modifications.
We’ve also included the Equitation Patterns Intro, Jump Course Intro, and Obstacle Course Intro: read these files first for important safety guidelines and helpful instruction tips.
Please note that this is a zipped file – you’ll need to extract the individual PDF files from the .ZIP file to open them. Detailed help will be available on the download page.
File size = 2.9 MB – You can learn more about our Patterns and Maps here.
Unzip the .ZIP file and save the files to your desktop or mobile device.
You can then open the PDF files and print individual maps as you need them – or just view them from your device’s browser with a bit of scrolling.
Files are designed for full color desktop printing on standard letter-sized copy paper.

We have been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood out in a sweltering/ freezing arena – or slogged up and down our hilly pastures – capturing lifelong memories of camps, clinics, and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!
One such student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here.
You’ll also find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials (like study guides) graciously donated by Rhonda Hagy, who is a student and lifelong friend. Contact us for information about her work.
Are we lucky or WHAT?!
